Star Wars jigsaw puzzle.

After my initial success with my son's Spiderman jigsaw puzzle, I trawled eBay and found a Star Wars puzzle that I really liked. (I'm a sucker for retro comic book art). After a short wait for the auction to wind down I put in my bid and won the auction. A few days later the 1000 piece puzzle arrived.

This one didn't take nearly as long as the Spiderman one did. The variation in colours probably had something to do with it. I had a lot of fun putting it together and it very satisfying to see those pieces fall into place.

After it was all done, I sealed the jigsaw but instead of using the foamboard like I did with the previous puzzle, I decided to try a plywood back and make a wooden frame. In hindsight I think a darker stain would have looked better but I'm happy with it up on the wall.

Not really sure whether I will keep going with the whole jigsaw thing. I enjoy putting them together but I don't think I have the wall space to keep framing them and it feels like a waste to not put them up.
